EDWIN M. WITTENSTEIN began his legal career with Worsek & Vihon LLP in 1987, and now has over 30 years of experience in ad valorem property taxation. Mr. Wittenstein has made presentations on property tax issues to association boards, property managers and professional organizations across the Chicagoland area. In addition, he has written articles for professional publications. Mr. Wittenstein’s professional associations include Institute for Professionals in Taxation, American, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations; Chicago Bar Association Real Estate Taxation and Real Property committees.

Mr. Wittenstein donates his expertise to not-for-profit organizations including Over The Rainbow Association, an organization that develops and manages accessible housing for severely physically disabled adults. He has been a longstanding board member and consultant with this organization. He has also donated his time to fund raising efforts for the Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook, a local social service organization, and the Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview Illinois. Mr. Wittenstein helps to coordinate the firm’s summer internship program in conjunction with Youth Guidance of Chicago, an organization helping under-served teens learn skills to be successful in academic and professional pursuits.  In the past, Mr. Wittenstein has served the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago as a member of the Board of Directors of Camp Chi and the Marketing and Creative Services Committee.

Mr. Wittenstein earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1987.
